When Graham, one of my partners, produced a 6 foot high Allan for their UK in store promotion, I never thought he would turn up and party at Le Mans with the Daily Sportscar guys, never mind be signed by all drivers from the 2010 Le Mans grid and this year there were some real stars including;
14 Le Mans 24 Hours Winners, One former F1 World Champion (and Champcar Champion), 25 ex F1 drivers, 11 Rolex 24 Winners, 12 Spa 24 Hour Winners, 11 Nurburgring 24 Hours Winners, 14 Sebring 12 Hour Winners, 10 Petit Le Mans Winners, Two DTM Champions, Two A1 GP Champions and a three time World Touring Car Champion.
When Big Al got home he was auctioned off on Ebay, starting at 99 cents he finally went to a new home for $2025, with funds going to Malaria No More, a charity supported by Highcroft Racing.
